Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She's best known for playing Anna Garner on the TV series The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg was her debut movie character on The Babysitters. Krause has studied drama at college, has starred in numerous off-Broadway plays and New York network television series. The family of her father comes from an ethnic background of Japanese descent and her mother is from the United States. Her younger brother Nathaniel is a director. Her interest in arts started at a young stage when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet, Washington D.C. She then began to take part in various musicals and plays by Bill Russell and Henry Krieger such as Side Show. She attended the Carnegie Mellon Drama School after graduation from high school. Krause's professional journey began after she felt ready. After a performance on stage in the show Aida and receiving her Equity card. Louisa Krause was first involved in the theatre. She made her debut in 2006 with The Huntington Theatre Company. She was Iphigenia as part of the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 production in 2007.
