Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26th, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He is one the richest and most famous Reggae singers. He was a part of the classic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was With Father Like Son. He also recorded several singles, like Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. The majority of them helped contribute to his growing popularity with the new generation of reggae singers. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell of Fugees in the song Avenue in 1997. The song was an incredibly successful cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was first seen on stage in Miami at Midem. Marley performed a set live in the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcast by the Caribbean News Agency across 36 countries. Marley was involved at the center of a bidding contest.
